Safe, comfortable and adaptable
Our unique three-piece bumper pad can be installed from the head or foot of the crib, or a side section can simply be removed as needed, so that the pad can be adapted to the baby’s age and size. For easy care, the pad covers can be individually removed from each section.
Our flax-cotton fibre provides a natural, rich and elegant texture that blends nicely with contemporary furnishing. Fluffy yet firm, the bumper pad stays securely in place while giving the crib an enveloping and soothing look — a cosy nest for a peaceful sleep!
The bedding set includes a continental quilt with removable cover, a three-piece bumper pad, a crib ruffle and a fitted sheet in any of the colours shown. You can also choose to purchase any of the abovementioned items and other accessories individually for the prices as listed below.
The optional fleece blanket is the same size as the continental quilt and can serve as a comfy bedspread.

Once PayPal verifies your credit information and clears your payment, you will receive an order confirmation and an invoice via e-mail within 48 hours following your purchase. We will process your order within 3 working days following your purchase, and ship it via Canada Post Regular Parcel service (within Canada), which means you should receive your order within 2 to 10 working days, depending where you live. Shipping and delivery times
Your order will be processed within 3 working days following purchase. We ensure that our inventory is restocked regularly; unless otherwise indicated, all items offered for sale are usually in stock, in all sizes. If any item in your order will require manufacturing or is no longer available, we will quickly let you know by e-mail and refund your money immediately.
Unless specifically requested by you (an extra charge will apply), items will be shipped by Canada Post and should take from 2 to 10 days to arrive (starting from the shipping date; the time it takes to process your order is not included). We cannot be liable for any late shipment or damage in transit (Canada Post service includes insurance).

Refunds, returns and exchanges
To ensure the utmost customer satisfaction, we inspect every article of clothing before shipping. If, however, you are not satisfied with an item because it is the wrong size or colour, or a defect in quality, you may return it to us at your expense within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or a full refund.
Clothing that has been worn, washed or is damaged for a reason other than a manufacturing defect cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

Only items purchased online can be returned directly.
Please send them back to us in the original packaging, or similar, and include a copy of the invoice as well as a brief explanation of why you are not satisfied.
The purchaser is responsible for the shipment. Be sure to send it via a postal service that includes package tracking (e.g., waybill) and insurance on the merchandise.
If the package is lost or damaged, we will not be able to refund you or exchange the merchandise. Please allow 2 weeks following our receipt of the merchandise for the refund or exchange to be completed.

During the first year of his young life, your new arrival will spend 60% of his time sleeping. What better environment for baby than natural fibres that are comfortable and safe? Organically grown cotton is an extremely sound fibre with a pleasing natural fragrance—a material that’s tough and gentle at the same time, and highly absorbent.
When our bodies are warm, the pores of our skin open up, which makes us more vulnerable to toxins in our immediate surroundings. And with your baby’s body only just beginning to regulate its temperature properly, it’s more likely to be affected. As a result, it’s vital that any materials that come in contact with baby’s skin be natural and, if possible, organic.
Organic cotton is respectful of the environment and grown using organic methods that are strictly defined by several different charters. It is certified GMO-free. No chemical pesticides our colouring agents are used, so it’s pleasant to the touch, and completely anallergic.
Fully one-quarter of the pesticides used on the planet are sprayed onto cotton plantations, and this has a devastating impact on ecosystems as well as public health: soil, air and water quality all deteriorate, and so does people’s health. Harvesting organic cotton stimulates biodiversity and healthier ecosystems, improves soil quality, uses less water and keeps groundwater from becoming contaminated.
To be certified organic, cotton must be grown in living soil on which no chemical growth stimulants, insecticides, pesticides or herbicides have been used for at least three years.
To maintain optimum soil fertility, growers of organic crops use agro-ecological methods to curb the proliferation of insect pests and weeds.
Cotton harvested this way must comply with international production standards. Those standards also impose very strict regulatory contexts for transportation and storage, to prevent contamination by cotton that is not organically grown.
A blend of flax and cotton is also used as a secondary fabric to manufacture Poids Plume bedding. Our flax is grown using fewer chemicals in the production cycle, and the result is a stronger, longer-lasting fibre.
We do all our printing by hand, piece by piece, using only water-based pigments with low ecological impact. These pigments are known to be gentle-acting, penetrating deeper into fabric and leaving a texture you can barely feel. Printing this way also uses less water, because no washing or rinsing is needed after the printing is done. The dye binds strongly to the fabric and is more resistant in the wash.

Baby’s natural sleeping position is on her back with arms at her sides but forearms pointing up toward the shoulders, and legs slightly bent. Swaddle baby in this position without trying to hold her straight. Make sure to leave the hands free so that baby can suck her thumb if she wants to. Pediatricians now strongly recommend that babies be allowed to bring their hands to their mouth and soothe themselves.
Wrap baby up fairly tightly, but make sure she can breathe without difficulty. Always make sure you can slide one hand between the blanket and baby’s chest.
